At the heart of A New Dawn Pet Adoption is a dedicated team of volunteers, coming from different backgrounds and possessing various talents, all driven by a singular mission: to assist homeless animals in finding loving, permanent homes in a homelike environment. The organization operates in two shifts: the AM shift and the PM shift.
The PM shift has varying hours; it runs from 12:00 to 4:30, except on Fridays when it ends at 3:45, and on Saturdays, it operates from 11:00 to 4:00. It includes the following duties:
1. Maintain a consistent routine for taking dogs outside and engaging with them.
2. Mopping the rooms if they are soiled or have urine in them.
3. Answering phone calls concerning intake or adoptionns
In addition to cats and dogs, we also have small animals like hamsters, rabbits, and guinea pigs available for adoption. Come meet them today!
1. Let the dogs out. 2. Mop and dry the rooms. 3. Feed the dogs. 4. Clean the cattery. 5. Feed the cats. 6. Begin the laundry. 7. Mop the halls. 8. Pick up feces in the side yard. The shift concludes once all duties are complete. You are more than welcome to stay and play or walk with the animals afterwards.
We always need supplies to help care for our animals. Check our wishlist for the items we need most, and drop them off at our shelter.
We believe in educating the community about responsible pet ownership and the importance of adopting. Check out our outreach programs and events.
Before adopting a pet from A New Dawn Pet Adoption, please review our adoption requirements to ensure you're ready to provide a loving and responsible home.
