Located in the heart of Deer Park, Texas, A New Dawn Pet Center is cacompassionate 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to giving every animal a second chance at life. |mission is to eliminate—or significantly reduce—the euthanasia of unwanted and companion animals by providing them with safe shelter, loving care, and a renewed opportunity to find their forever homes.
We believe that every pet deserves a future filled with love, and we work tirelessly to match our rescued animals with families who will cherish them. Through community outreach, adoption events, and unwavering advocacy, A New Dawn is lighting the way toward a more humane world—one paw at a time.

Our Facility
Our 50C3, no kill, limited intake facility for small dogs and cats provide a comfortable and safe space for our animals to feel at home. We have spacious rooms instead of kennels, outdoor play areas, and a team of dedicated volunteers to ensure every animal in our care is loved, healthy until a home of their own can be obtained. Please consider joining our team, the animals need your help
Adoption Process
Adopting a pet from A New Dawn Pet Adoption is easy! Simply fill out our adoption application, meet with one of our adoption counselors, and then take your new furry friend home. Our adoption fees are affordable and cover the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping.
